Versailles-Inspired Club Design Wins Silver A' Award

Bocheng Lv's "Gathering Night" Merges History with Modern Luxury

Bocheng Lv's "Gathering Night" stands as a testament to the innovative fusion of past and present. Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles, the design reimagines the opulence of the palace within a modern club setting. The project, spanning 1097 square meters, is a marvel of spatial design, offering a unique wedding and entertainment experience that coexists with nature, without the use of fired materials to minimize environmental impact.

The club's multifunctional nature is a highlight, serving as an exclusive space for wedding festivities and transforming into a vibrant hub for swimming, dining, and entertainment. The design's strength lies in its versatility, with the ability to operate sections like the swimming pool, bar, KTV, and restaurant both separately and in combination, catering to a diverse range of guest needs and occasions.

Employing Dulux paint, metal bricks, and rock slabs, "Gathering Night" is a showcase of natural materials. The design's realization is a nod to sustainability, with environmentally friendly texture paint and lighting that not only create a captivating atmosphere but also promote ecological awareness among guests.

The club's interior is a choreography of colors and shapes, each area distinct in its ambiance, yet unified in its commitment to providing an immersive experience. The design's clever use of coatings and materials not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also serves as a vehicle for conveying a message of environmental responsibility.

Located in the Qiandeng Shenghui Hotel in Guicheng, Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong, China, the "Gathering Night" project was designed over the course of a year and is currently in the construction phase. It addresses the lack of entertainment options in an area dominated by office spaces, aiming to revitalize local consumption and social interaction through its unique design.

Despite the challenges posed by irregular floor plans and low ceiling heights, Lv's creativity has turned these potential obstacles into opportunities, crafting varied spatial experiences that enhance the fun and engagement for guests. This project not only stands out for its design excellence but also for its potential to activate social development in the area.
